I miss my long hair so much. But then again, I do love my short hair. It's complicated. I'm a girl. Go figure.

So I lost my temper during photog today. I was so pissed at blah blah blah and in the end I just forgive and like help out and stuff. I don't understand myself. Well I do, I just don't like being mad at others. After awhile, I'll just blame myself for being ridiculous, over-sensitive and rude. I have issues.

At this point, I'm crying once again. It's been so long since I've cried daily. What a torture. But I believe I'll feel better. God is with me and He has His plans and I trust Him.

My Monday was really nice. My dear cousin, Zara picked me up at Dover and drove me to have breakfast at 6th Avenue. Went over to the house for a CNY visit. It was so good to see my grandpa and grandma, I miss them so much. My grandma cooked my favorite dish even when she has leg problems, really touched, almost wanted to cry. Even tho' Singapore is a so small, I still only visit thrice a year or something because I'm so busy. Gonna make an effort to visit once a month. I'm doing it because it's my responsibility and because I want to. Helped Zara with some poster thing and we were talking and stuff. It was really nice. Soon, again.

Have been feeling a little down recently but I know I'll be fine, as usual. Survived class today along with Pheebs & Nicole! It was a first for both Pheebs and I and we were totally amazed by the amount of things in there. It was fun!

And so, I have a confession to make. I've been watching a Korean drama, Secret Garden and I love it so much. Most people may be shock because I'm not really into Kstuff but hehh.

Anyhoos, I have been missing someone a lot but I honestly have no idea who. There's just this feeling of pain in my heart. And yet at the same time, I'm not heartbrokened... It's a weird feeling but I'm pretty sure it'll go away soon.

Recently, I have been really happy. Happy with life, just happy and I'm very thankful for it. PD and FYP done! Graduating soon. I'm going to start on a new journey in my life. I'm ready to face those new ups and downs.

AJ CAME TO SINGAPORE! It was such an awesome experience! Got the chance to take pictures with all each of the band members, they are so so good. The entire concert was just brilliant. Eileen and I were so blessed to have gotten front row middle seats. We also met a new friend while we were there, Silea, you can see in the picture above, she's really sweet, nice meeting her! The special guest performances were really good too. I enjoyed myself a lot. I got AJ to give a shout out to me, hehh. God is good. I hope he likes the gift I got him!

I was thinking about life and being on the mountains.... away from "life" is where I want to be right now. I know that God has given me signs and blessed me with many things and I should have more faith and trust from all that but it is pretty scary. Given the fact that I shared about it during the watchnight service. I know I have to leave it to God and if it happens, praise be to God but if it doesn't, He has a better plan. But I'm just afraid that when it doesn't happen... I don't know how to tell people. That fear of being judged but I should know better than that...

I just thought of sharing it so that the few people who are reading this will understand or like know how to react when whatever happens.

I can be silly at times. But I honestly trust God 100%.

Been taking my meds like a good girl and getting enough rest. I can speak a little now, you have no idea how excited I am. Not being able to speak is never fun because it means not being able to sing. Oh the torture. I wanted to make a video for the New Years but that didn't happen, lesigh.

On the other hand, AJ's concert is in 11 days! I can't wait for the meet & greet and of course watch him perform LIVE. He's such an inspiration to me, he's one of the first few youtubers I started following from way back. Eileen and I are super excited and we get to meet the other fans too! #fanclubmuch

Hello there, so I suppose today will be the end of my FYP... I think. The presentation for the client is in less than 2 hours and my teammates are nowhere in sight, haha. Plus, I can't present at all because I don't have my voice. Lord guide my team as face this battle! I'll be sitting in tho' and watching them and cheering them on! I know my team can do it! We've put in a lot of effort.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Currently really ill but I'm sure I'll be better soon. It's prolly like the you-get-really-sick-at-the-start-of-the-year-so-that-you-won't-be-that-sick-for-the-rest-of-the-year thing. BUT considering that I've been falling sick so much in 2011, I look forward to falling sick this very year too. HAHA. If I can survive through all that, I can survive. God is awesome.

Someone asked if I had come up with my new year resolutions and I honestly have not thought of any. So let's ponder for a minute or two.

1. Continue to grow and shine for God in whatever I do

Happy new year in advance people! It's been a really really long year. And yes, I got a haircut! I feel a little better when that load of bad hair was cut off.

So according to Pheebs, I don't update often anymore and I do apologize, have been too busy.

As I struggle to constantly improve myself and feel lousy about myself half the time, I do feel really happy from this year. I have learnt a lot and I thank God for everything. All the pain and happiness that he has blessed me with.

For this very year, He blessed me with two very beautiful girlfriends. Nicole and Pheebs. I feel that we have been through so so much together and I'm glad it was with the two of you. And no matter what happens as the year goes by, I'm confident that we'll always be there for each other. No matter how far apart we'll be. Love you two!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

10 days till Christmas and I am so excited! Today has been a really good day. The sadness is gone, whatever it was. I laughed so hard today during Rhapzx, it was so funny. I'm going to miss all of them when I leave but we'll save that for the future.

I'm 90% done with my PD! Yes, I am so so thankful for that. Have to finish everything before 5pm tomorrow cause submission is due, for me.

Am leaving for Taiwan on Friday, a family vacation! I really can't wait to enjoy myself and freeze (heard it's really cold, no snow but really cold, haha). Will be back on the 23rd, don't miss me too much okay! Altho' I'm pretty sure I'm gonna miss my I-see-you-two-everyday girls and of course everyone. Feels weird to be "leaving" for awhile.

Fact: I have not taken a plane for 4 years!

I know, it's insane but yeah due to some reasons so I feel very blessed that I get to get on one this year!

A Testimony By Me

I had such a good time sharing with Ally today. I love her so much, she just listens and doesn't judge. I was telling her how God has been clearly present in my life recently and how blessed I have been. She understood and told me that that's really good to hear and she feels happy for me.

Let me go a little in-depth...

I was listening to my ipod on shuffle while travelling home one day and out of nowhere, I reflected for a good whole of 5 minutes. I reflected on my life, my 20 years of being in this world and I instantaneously smiled because it has been beautiful. Despite my parents splitting, my self-mutilation days, all my regrets... Even all that, I still see God helping me and I think that's the best thing ever, to know that I'm never alone and that He is right there to listen and to comfort me just makes me thankful and delighted to serve Him even more.

To those who don't know, my dad was never really in my life, he worked overseas and I was really depressed thinking that my family was pathetic. I prayed and asked God each year to bring my dad back to me and as the years went by, I never gave up. Finally in 2009, he came back but divorced with my mum cause he was too ashamed to be part of the family anymore. At that point I learnt many things. I saw how God waited till I was ready and mature enough to accept. Imagine my dad coming back when I was depressed and he got the divorce, God knows what I would have done to myself or the people around me. When the divorce happened, I was calm and collected, my self-mutilation days were long gone and I even got the chance to keep in contact with my dad. Also, I realized how I never needed him in my life, I love him no matter what but God wanted me to see that without my dad, life can still be great.

Y'know how I am the kind of girl who dreams of having a family of my own in the future, kids and all. Well currently, I don't see that as priority. I see God as my priority. I want to serve Him even more and I feel that a relationship isn't something for me right now at this point of my life. Thus why (this I shall not elaborate). I look forward to going to the US to visit my god family and to experience the culture and their church there. I I feel like God has been telling me it'll be a good new journey for me. I'm excited!

Recently as most of you might know, I have been given opportunities to sing, one for the MBS and another for Christmas in church and that to me is a blessing. The event at MBS, the nfvns is an event where all social workers etc gather to talk about the situations and to update each other on findings and whatnots and that's what I wanted when I was in secondary school, I wanted to be a social worker and I was given the chance to sing at the event, singing + something I'm interested in? Isn't it wonderful how God plans our lives? For the Christmas one, it's just been a dream for me to perform for Christmas and to perform a song that I love, is another blessing.

Plus, being a childcare teacher is my other dream and He gave me that opportunity too. He's so good. I'm literally crying right now as I blog about this because I just feel so thankful because even when I do the worst things, He is still there for me.

I know I sound like the happiest girl in the world right now and you are prolly saying, "Anna, you don't know what I'm going through." That's false because I have most likely been through as much as you have. I have had my fair share of friendship, family, relationships issues and my struggles with God, trust me, I know... I'm even going through them NOW. But I trust in my God and I know that I will be fine.

I write this, hoping to encourage you to not give up on yourself, your life.

My advice: Reflect on your positives (even the tiny ones) & of course, trust in Him.

It's the most wonderful time of the year~

The elections for Rhapsody's 2012 committee results were out just yesterday and I'm loving the team! You guys can do it! Make us proud ya'll!

Didn't manage to meet AW for practice tho' we're just gonna go to the soundcheck and just perform likabauss! Hehh.

Reflected on my life for a short 5mins just now and I smiled. God has been amazing to me for the past 20 years!

Hi there! As much as I am happy with life now, things still happen to bring me down. Currently feeling all emotional about stuff. I just want people to spread the love. It saddens me how people can hate each other so much. I do understand why but it's sad isn't it? I understand because I've been there, done that, suffered. I just hope everything will change. As naive as that sounds, it's actually possible but really hard. Sermon on Sunday was on 1 Corinthians 13, the passage on love and it's always useful to listen about it cause sometimes we tend to forget the true meaning of love:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." - 1 Corinthians 13: 4 - 7

Just by reading it, you know it's hard but it's possible to want to learn and to try. My heart just sinks knowing people who can't get over things and seeks to constantly destroy someone else or just simply can't forgive. When I say this, I do look in the mirror and I do know that I'm part of this mess. How I wish things were easier. God guide us.

Hi there people! Photography went really badly for me yesterday, my interest level dropped like crazy and I don't even know why at least I managed to produce a few decent pictures. I don't really care about the grade because I know I didn't even put in any effort.

Went to watch Immortal, LAME! How is it that the "gods" are so useless? Why doesn't Zeus have his lightning bolt? Everything was lame and SO VIOLENT. Gosh, that freaked me out. I mean, it was an interesting movie but how it ended and how everything happened so quickly was LAME. Yes that's the word of the day... LAME. I'm not gonna say DON'T WATCH because I believe that you should never listen to reviews and should experience it yourself.

UT today, SIGH. Never study much.

Wow, this post is so negative. Eeeeek but the thing is I'm totally fine and happy. Praise God! I would like to watch Breaking Dawn soon tho' gotta find people to watch with (: Can't wait! Oh oh oh! And as you can see, my hair has grown so much and I have decided to BOB it in 2012 to start the year fresh. YAY! Gotta neaten my hair tho' it's a little messy, am excited.

Okay, I know I'm slow but I just heard ONE DIRECTION yesterday and wow! CUTE AND AWESOME VOICES! I like. Hehh.

Anyhoos, stayed home all day because of THE FEVER, yeah it's all CAPS because whenever I have THE FEVER, it's always ON/OFF and I have been sleeping and waking up like a million times. That's more tiring then ever. Really glad it's gone... for now.

Can I be honest? I'm a little upset that Logam gave me a B when my pictures were great compared to those when she gives me A. It's lame how she says I produced nice pictures but I was distracted in class. HOW IS THAT FAIR? Ah wells, I tried my best. Another one of her lesson tomorrow, *fingers crossed*

I knew about all these for the longest time but I chose to ignore but when "it" happened, I can't stop noticing things and as much as I don't care, I am rather disappointed. But I still choose to be there for you however if you continue your ways and do stuff that hurts my friends, I'm sorry but I may not be able to be that friend anymore and I will only choose to pray for you. So please, grow up and realize your mistakes.

Ultimately, who am I to sit here and judge when what I know, that everything God makes is beautiful.

Photography class was fun that day. We had to take motion pictures and of course, I tried out jump shots first which was normal and then the bubbles which I really love because it's so beautiful and my best would be the lighter, catching the sparks and flame in motion was a great achievement. Kinda really proud of myself. Am learning a lot more about photography now and I'm loving my team! (:

Remember the songwriting competition I was talking about? On 13 November, the day of the competition arrived and AW and I were so nervous because the other two competitors were so good and are seasoned performers. Throughout the event, it was pouring really badly and I'm so touched by all who came by to support because they actually ran in the rain. Much love you guys. By God's grace, we won 1st prize and the most popular song. Am glad for this experience as I've learnt a lot. God is good. Thank you so much for supporting us. (:

Meet my awesome photography teammates. Pheebs, Nicole and I are damn happy today with the team. We had loads of fun taking pictures today and even tho' it was a million degrees out there, it was nice. Poor Pheebs dropped her phone into the drain and awwww, Manfred and Hansel helped! I have pictures, will show them soon! AND THE THING IS... her phone still sorta works. Hahaha. All hail SE. She's gonna get a new phone tho' YAY!

Hello there world! On 2nd November, Nicole and I stayed over at Pheebs's house and it was so awesome. We had fun talking and watching Glee. Our plan to watch Shutter failed, oh wells. Hahahahahaha. I shared a bed with Pheebs *winkz* and when she woke up she said "thatawkwardmoment when I didn't feel awkward waking up and you are beside me using your laptop." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. When it was 12nn, I placed my alarm by Nicole's ears to wake her up! :D Such a fun and random stayover. So blessed to have you two in my life.

Great Experience

Vanessa's friend was in need of a singer as the initial one backed out and I agreed at 11:30pm. Had to reach NP by 9am and thank God, Nicole accompanied me. It was for this bunch of students who are in some filming course where they have to direct so the singing is just for them to "play" with. It was really cool, while they were putting their skills to the test, I was experiencing how it feels like to be in a recording studio. The guitarist is Terrence who is really nice and friendly. It's a good thing it wasn't too awkward. Hahaha! Everyone there was so nice and sweet and encouraging. It was so tiring tho'! Nicole and I almost died but definitely an awesome experience for me. Thanks Vanessa for recommending me, love you!

It Was Magical For Me

A Magical Musical Journey was a full concert Rhapsody had on Sunday, 30th October 2011 held at SOTA. I believe we all had our fair share of fun during the performance even tho' some of the songs could have been better due to all the technical difficulties. This concert is one of my last performances with my beloved Rhapzx family and I genuinely feel bittersweet from all these. Two more concerts to go and I hope to give my best.

Back to the concert.

Nicole, Pheebs and I were given the opportunity to emcee the whole show and we were so nervous initially but we got comfortable after awhile. It was fun and really nice to perform with Uphorte as a whole for the last time. :/
